The Core Strategy policy options consultation ran for eight weeks from 29th March to 24th May 2010, it involved community organisations, individuals and other stakeholders giving feedback and ideas about the sort of strategy and policies the Core Strategy should include to help make West Somerset a more prosperous and attractive place to live and work.
There was a series of six exhibitions around the Core Strategy area with planning policy officers on hand to answer questions.
Hard copies of the consultation documents were made available at the Council’s offices and at the public libraries within the District.
The main consultation document was the Core Strategy Options Paper. With other supporting information and a choice of two alternative response forms, a full version which listed all of the options being put forward for discussion, and a shorter version focussing particularly on the main strategy choices.
Responses could be made in three different ways:
by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or
by post: The Planning Policy Team, West Somerset Council, West Somerset House, Killick Way, Williton, TA4 4QA”.
