SHLAA initial call for housing sites 2009

The Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessment is a key part of the evidence base for the Core Strategy, and for the identification of a housing land supply for the Local Planning Authority  area. It is important that any landowner or developer with aspirations to develop land within the District for housing purposes responds to this consultation clearly indicating the site on an Ordnance Survey base map and providing information on the proforma provided as to its characteristics, including its availability for development and any constraints which may impede development.

The consultation period ran from 8 July to 1 September 2009, the 'Westsomersetsays' consultation website provided the facility to make responses online, including the ability to upload documents (subject to a 15mb upload limit). The consultation documents published at the time may be viewed or downloaded in the Related Documents section on the right side of the page
