Executive Decisions

An executive decision is a decision which falls within the Terms Of Reference for the Cabinet. An executive decision can be made by the Cabinet, an individual Cabinet Member or an Officer.

All executive decisions must be made within existing Council policy.

The decision will come into force and may then be implemented on the expiry of five working days after the publication of the decision, unless called in under the Overview and Scrutiny Procedure Rules.
