Empty Properties
People living in Sedgemoor, West Somerset & Taunton Deane can now report an empty property to Sedgemoor District Council, on-line, through the partnership known as Somerset West Private Sector Housing Partnership (SWPSHP).
This will alert the Empty Property Officer within the partnership to any empty properties and will help the partnership to formulate action that, hopefully, will bring it back into use.
The Strategy has been adopted in Sedgemoor and West Somerset, and is currently being refreshed for adoption in Taunton Deane. The Strategy is available upon request and will be revised on an annual basis.
Anyone wishing to talk to the council about an empty property near them should use the online report form, or alternatively, contact our Customer Services via a new "hotline" number or email below.
