Building Control

Spirit LevelThe purpose of Building Regulations is to safeguard the health, safety, welfare and convenience of all people, including the disabled, in and about buildings.  This control extends to both private and public buildings, with plan checking and site inspections being undertaken by Building Control Officers. 



New fees with effect from 1 April 2013

As the increase occurs over a bank holiday, and the postal service does not operate over this period, applications dated up to and including 31 March 2013 and received by 12 April 2013 will be accepted on the previous fees.
