Dulverton
Dulverton can be considered to be the southern gateway to Exmoor. The town is located between the rivers Barle and Exe and they converge a mile or so down the valley. It has one main street and contains a number of shops ranging from late night supermarkets to gift shops. It has an art gallery and National Park Visitor Centre, which shares its premises with the local library. There are many walks from the town, the riverside walks both ways along the Barle being very popular.
