Blue Anchor
Blue Anchor in West Somerset has beautiful holiday beaches and is famous for the alabaster rocks and cliffs which are of great geological interest. It offers peaceful relaxation and is just a short steam train ride on the West Somerset Railway from Minehead. Trains run daily in the summer and at holiday times. Historic Dunster is close by too.
Blue Anchor is a fine place for anglers, walkers or people simply equipped with buckets and spades. There are cafes, ice cream stands and The Smugglers Inn is situated at the end of the seafront.
