The tourism industry is worth over £60 million to the economy of West Somerset and is viewed as a key economic driver for the district.
The Council has a major strategic interest in supporting this vital part of the economy and as such plays a significant role as a key partner within the Exmoor Tourism Partnership. Membership of the Partnership also includes Exmoor National Park Authority and the Exmoor Tourist Association and receives support from the wider industry.
