Bulky Items Collection
We offer a collection service for bulky items and white goods (bulky items are classed as items that you would take with you if you moved house).
The charge for this service is £38.15 for one to three items and £8.35 for each additional item, up to a maximum of five items.
Bulky waste collections will be made Monday to Friday between 7am and 3pm, within 2 weeks of the customer request. Bulky items should be left outside the house but within the curtilage of the property (to avoid obstruction of footpaths).
Please note that no refunds are given if the request is cancelled by the customer.

Furniture Reuse Groups
If a householder wishes to get rid of an item that is reusable - for example furniture that has a fire safety label, cookers, fridges and washing machines that are still in working order - this material can be collected from them for free via their local furniture reuse project.
The furniture will be passed on to people who would not otherwise be able to afford to buy these items. The Furniture Group will arrange a collection day within 2 weeks of the request. The items should be kept indoors or under cover until collection day. It is important that all items are in good working order and meet current safety standards.
