National Grid's Proposals for Grid Connections in Somerset
National Grid has received an application from EDF Energy to connect the proposed new nuclear power station at Hinkley Point by September 2017. National Grid has undertaken the first stage of a consultation on two possible route corridors for a new overhead power line between Hinkley Point in Somerset and Seabank, Avonmouth.
