Planning within The Exmoor National Park is controlled by The Exmoor National Park Authority.
South West Planning Aid
Free, independent and impartial advice on town planning matters is provided by South West Planning Aid to community groups and individuals throughout the South West who cannot afford to pay for a professional adviser. The service is part of the Royal Town Planning Institute, a charity and the professional body for planning. South West Planning Aid can prepare individuals and communities for their involvement with Local Authorities and the development plan process through advice and training. They also provide help and support on planning applications.
