Although the Government have removed the Comprehensive Area Assessment framework, the principles of value for money still remain. It is of paramount importance that the Partnership have in place effective arrangements to secure economy, efficiency and effectiveness. We work hard with the three partner Councils to ensure our performance criteria is commensurate with their performance frameworks. It is for this reason the Partnership is drafting a Performance Framework document to reflect their required needs.

As a customer, members of the public, members, agencies or organisations, members of staff or services within a Council expect to receive a good service. We strive to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction and this is evidenced by the 97% customer satisfaction rate for the delivery of disabled adaptations that we provide in the Council housing managed by Homes in Sedgemoor.

The Partnership have developed a Customer Charter. The Charter sets down the commitment to continuously improve private sector housing in Sedgemoor, Taunton Deane and West Somerset. The targets in the Charter are measured by the Business Strategy and Performance unit. Please follow the link to the Customer Charter.

The actions in the Private Sector Renewal Strategy and associated sub strategies and policies are also monitored to ensure that they are completed.

The Partnership use a system called Covalent to monitor performance. The system uses the principles of traffic light’s to identify whether actions have been completed or sufficient progress made.

Once a quarter the Partnership will be providing a snap shot of the performance of the business on these pages. There will be a report briefly outlining achievements against targets.
