People Suffering Abuse
Abuse does not necessarily mean physical violence, it can take many forms:
- Mental
- Verbal
- Emotional
- Financial
- Sexual
- Physical
- Bullying
- Threats
There may be housing issues that arise if you are the victim of abuse and the Council may be able to help with these. However, we cannot help with resolving violence. If you have to leave your home in a hurry because of violence, telephone the Police on 999.
If you wish to discuss a housing issue you can call at our offices in Killick Way, Williton or the Customer Call Centre, Summerland Road, Minehead. If a Housing Officer is not available to see you straight away, they will make an appointment to see you as soon as possible. To contact the Housing Team telephone (01643) 703704.
