The Summer Bank Holiday on 31 August means changes to all kerbside recycling and rubbish collections.
The West Somerset Local Plan was submitted for Examination on 31 July 2015, information on and documents relating to the Examination will be posted on this page as they become available.
West Somerset Council has decided not to change the scheme for 2015/16. However, we wish to make sure the scheme designed meets the requirement of West Somerset residents, so we are now consulting on options for 2016/17

The population of the district is approximately 35,000 with about one third living in Minehead, which is the principal town.
