Pest Control in West Somerset
In order to control pests throughout the District, West Somerset Council offers a subsidised range of pest control treatments for domestic properties.
From 4 January 2011 the following charges apply for domestic pest treatments:

Rats and mice treatments are subject to a 50% reduction for those people on certain benefits, such as Income Support/Pension Credit, Housing Benefit, Council Tax Benefit, Income Based Job Seekers Allowance, Attendance Allowance, Disability Living Allowance, Income Support.
To request a pest control service please complete the online form. This service is undertaken by contractors and they will be in contact to arrange the treatment Payment will need to be made to the contractor on their first visit.

Bees
Unfortunately, we do not have a service for treatment of nuisance bees. We are very lucky to have Mr Peter Curtis who is available for advice or swarm removal. He can be contacted on (01643) 704223.
