These include community partnership strategies , safety and crime reduction strategies and joint housing strategies.
National Performance Indicators
Measurement of how the Council is performing in relation to its corporate priorities and in comparison to other Authorities.
Audit's reports on the performance indicators
The Audit Commission's assessment of the Council's performance against key indicators.
Economic development strategy
Forward plan
Each Forward Plan contains a list of key and other decisions to be made by Cabinet or Lead Members or Council and the documents to be submitted to the to assist their consideration.
Comprehensive Area Assessment (Performance reviews)
Is the Government's annual evaluation of the quality of services provided by local government. It includes assessment of the Authority's direction of travel, use of resources and service assessments elements (refreshed annually) and a corporate assessment, the frequency of which is dependant on our overall performance
Inspection reports
Reports provided by the Inspectors with regards to the Council's performance in key service areas.
Statistical information
Research data, statistics and reports produced in accordance with the Authority's and departmental requirements.
Impact assessments
Measuring the impact that the work of the Council is having on the local area and on specific resident groups.
Service standards
The standards and values governing delivery of Council services to the people of West Somerset by individual services.
