Gambling Panel
Purpose of Gambling Panel
The purpose of setting up a Gambling Panel is to hear applications where relevant representations have been received from interested parties and responsible authorities in accordance with the Gambling Act 2005.
The rull role and functions of the Panel are set out within the Council's Constitution together with the Terms of Reference, which can be found on this page.
Membership of Gambling Panel
Membership of the Gambling Panel consists of three Members from amongst the Members of the Licensing Committee. Gambling Panels are held as and when required. Ward Councillors do not sit on a Panel involving an application within their ward.
