Domestic Abuse
Domestic Abuse is defined as any incident of:
- threatening behaviour
- violence
- psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional abuse, between adults who are or have been intimate partners or family members.
It can happen to anyone regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or sexuality.
FACT:
At some point in their lives it will affect:
- one in four women.
- one in six men.
