Corporate Equality and Diversity Scheme 2009-2012
This is West Somerset Council's first inclusive equality scheme. It incorporates all the equality strands covered by current legislation in to one document, including Race, Gender, Disability, Age, Religion/Belief and Sexual Orientation.
We will now be working to ensure that the scheme is embedded across the organisation and that the actions identified within the Action Plan are completed on time.
